Breast reduction (mammoplasty) is becoming a more and more popular procedure. Large breasts have the ability to make women look larger than they actually are. Concealing their breast size becomes what clothes shopping is all about. More troubling is the neck, shoulder and back pain that can be caused by large breasts.

We understand that one of the major deterrents for women complementing either the reduction or uplift procedure is the extent of the scarring. This is a huge area of concern and one that is very valid. The good news is that techniques have changed and most women in the hands of an experienced surgeon and one who updates his/her techniques can proceed with this surgery knowing that they will just have the periareolar incision or lollipop scar.
Your Surgery
A Breast Reduction can take up to two hours and it is carried out under general anaesthetic. We invite our patients to stay over night after this procedure to recover in our private rooms under the care of our experienced medical team.
