Non-surgical

Non-Surgical Cosmetic Treatments

A small change can make a big difference.

We all have little things we don’t like about how we look – niggling little features that could do with a tweak, enlargement or reduction.

Thankfully, we live in an age where non-invasive or even non-surgical treatments can make huge improvements to our appearance. You can have fuller lips, better definition, firmer skin or one of several other procedures available.

Existing, more traditional procedures are getting better in every way (quicker recovery times, better results), while newer offerings are opening possibilities further.

It’s never been easier to get the right procedure for you and to enjoy the newfound joy and confidence it can bring. And the procedures below have relatively swift recovery time compared to more elaborate surgeries: Depending on what you get done, full recovery could be anything from a couple of weeks to as little as a day.

Avoca Clinic is in the business of helping people feel better about how they look. Take a look at our non-surgical and surgical procedures below.

Facelift

lip fillers and face procedures at The Avoca Clinic

This has evolved beautifully since the early facelifts in the 1980s. Now, the industry has nearly four decades of accumulated experience and innovation in this iconic procedure.

Facelifts are popular with patients who wish to halt or reverse some of the adverse effects of advancing years. This includes addressing the lower face, jowls and neck. It’s a straightforward procedure, which can take years off a patient’s appearance and offers a relatively short recovery time: Depending on the patient, you can be fully recovered in a couple of weeks.

The Macs lift (Minimal Access Cranial Suspension) is the actual surgical name for this procedure and the ‘mini’ can present how minimally invasive the surgery is as well as the recovery time.

8-Point Facelift

Some patients opt for our 8-Point Facelift. This non-invasive procedure, also known as a “liquid facelift” involves addressing numerous points (including cheeks, chin, jawline and peri-oral zones) to return volume, symmetry and vitality to your face.

Eyelid Surgery

eyelid surgery

Eyelid surgery can brighten your eyes, bringing youth and energy to their appearance that hadn’t been there before.

This is a procedure that can either reverse symptoms brought about by ageing (such as sagging eyelids, bags under eyes) or can address genetic traits that have been there longer-term. Eyelid surgery doesn’t just change how your eyes look, it can brighten your whole face.

Lip Fillers

lip fillers

Would you like fuller lips, a better pout or better definition in that part of your face?

Lip fillers are an effective, low-impact way of enhancing your appearance. Patients for this procedure vary – from some who might have lost some volume over to the years, to others who yearn for a fuller pout, to others who would like the voluminous lips enjoyed by celebrities like Kylie Jenner and Tom Hardy.

This little procedure does a lot.

Anti-Wrinkle Injections

anti-wrinkle injections

Sometimes all you need is a subtle way to get rid of those unwelcome lines. Anti-wrinkle injections are a convenient, fast and effective way to improve your appearance. Getting rid of wrinkles can help you look younger and fresher.

Popular areas to address include crow’s feet, “bunny lines” (around the nose), smoker’s lines and frown lines.

Vampire Facial

vampire facial

An innovative, practical treatment, the vampire facial is also known as a blood facial.

It involves taking a blood sample and then taking the platelet-rich plasma (PRP) from that sample and applying it to the patient. In other words, it promotes healthy skin cell activity which revives the applied areas. Vampire facials are especially popular in treating the area under the eyes.

You might have seen vampire facials mentioned and demonstrated on Instagram, as numerous celebrities (including Kim Kardashians) are fans of this beauty procedure.

PRP Facial Treatment

Using a similar technique to vampire facials, PRP treatments use the patient’s own blood to derive platelets. These platelets are then used to bring vitality back to applied areas.

PRP injections can be used to treat eye area, décolletage, hands, neck, scar tissue and wounds.

Profhilo

profhilo skin treatment

A relatively new procedure that’s rocketing in popularity, Profhilo involves hyaluronic acid injected subcutaneously. Hyaluronic acid, or HA, is a harmless but effective substance found in many high-end beauty products.

The treatment stimulates four types of elastin and collagen with a slow release of hyaluronic acid. And the results are younger-looking, firmer and sometimes more luminous skin.

Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers can bring volume, definition and/or smoothness to your face or lips. This is done by injecting gels to the applied areas.

It’s a precise, versatile treatment, and can benefit those who are hoping for fuller lips, reduced wrinkles or fewer hollows. It can even be used to correct or augment contours on the face, including the jawline, chin, cheeks or temple.
