It’s been one week since Siobhan’s breast augmentation at the Avoca Clinic and she’s already been back to the gym (nothing too strenuous!)
Find out how her recovery is going below.

Hi, I just wanted to update you, one-week post-surgery. I feel amazing. I can’t believe it’s only been a week. I’m still wearing a support bra 24-7. I haven’t taken it off. Yeah, everyone’s been like, “How are you? Do you feel any pain?” And nothing, not at all. Like, a bit tight in places. I haven’t actually been sore at all, which is amazing, you know? I didn’t know what to expect but if anything, I just feel a little bit stiff, like I can’t…well, not stiff. I just don’t want to hurt myself or do any damage, so taking it easy.
Getting Back to the Gym
I went back to the gym on Monday…today’s Wednesday…and I just went and did a little walk. So I’ve been a couple of times since and just doing cardio. No impact, no running or anything like that. Just trying to get a sweat on and burn off some of the calories I’ve been eating the last week. So yeah, it’s great even just putting on a dress like this. You know, I kind of have to look for clothes that kind of cover-up stuff because the support bra is…it just looks like a really big sports bra, so it’s not too bad.
So glad to be back in the gym. Obviously not going to push myself anyway and even yesterday in the nice weather, I was doing lunges out in the back garden and just kind of walking around in the sun. If anything, I’m just trying to keep the diet on track.
Hugs are OK!
We’ve had a kind of a rough week in the family so to be honest, the surgery is the last thing on my mind and it’s been fine. Like, even everyone trying to give me a hug and they’re like, “Oh, sorry,” and I’m like, “No, it’s grand I can hug, I’m just being careful.” So yeah, all good here. I’m going back to the Avoca Clinic next week. I guess this day next week. I think that’s to remove the stitches.
If you have any questions for me, shoot. I just thought I’d do a little video, keep you updated because the amount of emails I’ve gotten, the messages saying they’re considering it, and everyone keeps saying I’m so brave to have gone through it but to be honest, it was so easy. Like, compared to everything else I’ve had going on, it’s been a walk in the park. It’s nice and I can feel, like, I’m turning sideways and I’m like, “Oh, look, I’m not a pancake.” Yeah, well, thanks for watching and if you have any questions, just leave a comment below.
