Miss Ciara McGoldrick

Miss McGoldrick is a proud mother of three and is highly specialised in breast reconstruction and complex reconstructive surgery, with particular expertise and interest in advanced microsurgical techniques having undertaken training that allows her to treat breast cancer patients. With her focus, she has a particular specialisation in free flap techniques which includes DIEP flap reconstruction using fat from the lower abdomen to reconstruct the breast. This is a procedure that can be performed during cancer surgery too. Miss Ciara McGoldrick is also experienced in abdominal wall, vaginal and perineal reconstruction.

Miss Ciara McGoldrick holds an MB BAO BCh from Queen’s University Belfast and an MSc in Trauma Surgery from Swansea University. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland (Plastic Surgery) and a member of BAAPS and BAPRAS. She completed the majority of her surgical training in Northern Ireland, with additional research experience in Canada and advanced specialty fellowships at internationally recognised centres including The Royal Marsden Hospital and St Andrew’s Centre for Burns and Plastic Surgery in Essex.

Mr Christopher Hoo

Mr Chris Hoo is a highly skilled Consultant Plastic & Breast Surgeon at The Avoca Clinic, specialising in oncoplastic breast and reconstructive surgery. His work combines advanced surgical expertise with a strong focus on achieving natural, aesthetically balanced outcomes.

Following completion of his medical degree, Mr Hoo undertook specialist training in plastic surgery in Northern Ireland before further sub-specialising in breast surgery which is now his primary area of expertise. He has also completed advanced fellowships in Newcastle and Liverpool, gaining extensive experience in complex breast and reconstructive procedures.

Mr Hoo is particularly recognised for his expertise in breast reconstruction, supporting patients following breast cancer surgery, as well as those with congenital or developmental breast asymmetry. His approach blends reconstructive precision with aesthetic awareness, delivering results that restore both form and confidence.

In addition to his reconstructive work, Mr Hoo offers a comprehensive range of aesthetic breast and body procedures, including breast augmentation (using implants or fat transfer), breast reduction, mastopexy (breast uplift), and gynaecomastia surgery. His practice also includes abdominoplasty (tummy tuck), lipomodelling (liposuction with fat grafting), blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery), and pinnaplasty (ear reshaping).

He also treats a variety of skin lesions, including mole removal, with careful reconstruction using local tissue or skin grafts where required. For patients seeking non-surgical options, Mr Hoo provides anti-wrinkle treatments and dermal fillers.

Dr Eleni Georgiadou

Dr. Eleni Georgiadou is a board-certified Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeon at The Avoca Clinic with a strong focus on breast and body contouring procedures, as well as advanced non-surgical aesthetic treatments. She is based in Greystones with her husband and two children.

She completed her medical degree at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and subsequently undertook comprehensive training in Plastic Surgery at a tertiary university hospital.

Her specialist training covered the full spectrum of aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgery, including breast surgery, body contouring, facial surgery, post-oncologic reconstruction, hand surgery, microvascular techniques, head and neck surgery, burns, trauma management and lymphoedema treatment.

Dr Georgiadou is recognised for her expertise in breast and body procedures, combining surgical precision with an aesthetic eye and a personalised approach tailored to each patient’s anatomy and goals.

She regularly attends national and international congresses, participates in continuous medical education, and remains up to date with the latest evidence-based techniques in aesthetic and reconstructive surgery. Dr Ahmed Alsayed is a highly skilled Consultant Plastic Surgeon with extensive experience in advanced aesthetic and reconstructive procedures. Dr Louise Fitzgerald

Louise is a dedicated General Practitioner with a focus on women’s health and menopause. She builds trust with her patients, empowering them to manage their health confidently. Passionate about accessible health information, she works to bridge gaps between healthcare providers and the public. 

Her leadership in "Menopause and the City," a 2023 Smart D8 innovation project shortlisted for an Irish Healthcare Award, aims to transform menopause education. Her collaboration with the Irish College of General Practitioners and the Irish Heart Foundation has also expanded access to digital medical knowledge, emphasizing women’s health. 

Louise co-hosts the Lady Bites Podcast, sharing insights on women’s health and empowerment.

Dr Amr Hamid

Dr. Amr Hamid is a Consultant Breast Radiologist at The Avoca Clinic. He specialises in our famous 'Breast Implant Health Check' process, providing a highly comprehensive procedure.
